Bas Yatra..

This one has been one of my fav and popular poem in Punjabi..

It only accommodates my Punjabi understanding friends.. This poem is about a bus journey from Jalandhar to Chandigarh..

I am the first one to board the bus and then enters most pretty lady I have ever seen.. Correction, 2nd most pretty lady I have ever seen.. what happens next is written here..

main joke chutkale kasada rahya, oh chutkalyaan te hasdi rahi..
Hasde Hasde, holi holi, oh dil vich mere basdi rahi..

ohne bade pyaar nal mainu kahya, tusi bade hi change lagde ho..
jadon hasde ho us velle taan, tusi wade veer waangu lagde ho..

Main mud ke fer na has sakya, na joke chutkale kas sakya,
oh puchdi rahi ki ki hoya, main ki hoya na das sakya..

ki hoya tenu ki dasiye, tu appe mitti kar ti hai,
main karwachoth da sochaya si, tu rakhadi agge dharti hai..

ki hoya je nak chotta si, par dand taan chaangey wade san,
ohnaan dandaan vich wi taan rab ne, gap taan change chadde san..

par ik gal taan pakki hai, eh safar na kaade bhul pawanga,
hun chandigarh vich ki hoya, eh agli waar sunawanga..
